Tourist Common Sense Route
Stratos takes its role as an Environmental Consultant seriously . This time we were the ones who participated in a greening project together with the Association for Tourist Common Sense and Civic Attitude . Below is a text taken from the Association's Press Release and a presentation film of the Project.
"The "DN 1 - Tourist Common Sense Route" project, carried out in partnership with CNAIR - DRDP Brasov , continues with the redevelopment of the fourth parking lot on DN1.
With the support of Eco Synergy SA and Stratos Management SRL , the parking lot located in the Timisul de Jos area, Km. 156 +850 , left, was redeveloped with bins for selective waste collection, panels with educational messages regarding waste management, ashtrays and a table with benches for tourists who stop for a rest in the parking lot.
Eco Synergy SA and Stratos Management SRL joined the Bun-Simt Turistic campaign out of the desire to increase responsibility for environmental protection across the country, in order to ensure a cleaner environment for future generations. Eco Synergy also supported in August the redevelopment of the Cotul Donului parking lot, one of the largest and most polluted parking lots on DN1.
We mention that through the project "DN 1 - Tourist Common Sense Route" we have proposed the redevelopment of all parking lots and shelters on the Bucharest-Sibiu section, and the first section subject to rehabilitation is the area between Azuga and Sibiu.
All parking lots are redeveloped from private funds, from sponsorships and donations, and the involvement of private companies is essential in achieving the objectives of the project, in total will be redeveloped over 90 parking lots and shelters, affected by waste thrown at random by traffic participants .
Even if the project is at the beginning of the road, we can say that the signals are positive and we are confident in our project because, following the monitoring of the contents of the installed containers, we found that the waste was thrown in the appropriate basket 70%.
